Finally!

I haven't had the chance to post on my blog, but finally I'm here to review what I've done so far. For this project we had to create a school magazine front cover and a contents page, including a mid shot on the front cover. At first we started researching school magazines for ideas of what to add to our own magazines. Personally i only had to look at 2 or 3 school magazines and then ideas such as what kind of pictures i wanted and how my layout was going to be were flying out of my head in every direction. We had to decide who our audience was going to be, whether it was the students or their parents, I decided that i was trying to attract both parties so then there are more people reading it and giving feedback so then we can have the best magazine possible using their ideas. using various techniques such as bright colours for the students and advertising stories that the parents would be interested in. Then i started the project. i decided what i wanted it to look like and then set off around the school to find pictures i could incorporate into my front cover. After 4 lessons of fitting the pictures in and around my layout i decided to scrap my original idea and started a brand new front cover which is now finished and I'm going to upload it onto my blog.
